Apart from the products mentioned above, we have come up with a new innovation called the- Solid pad, which has various advantages over the traditional leather pad used in the industry. After long research and innovation, the final product, "The Solid Pad" is ready to function in a more efficient way (as compared to the leather pad/feltpad) as explained in the attachment.

The solid pad has a life span of 3 months guaranteed. |
The felt pad lasts for 12 hours only. |
Down Time Of Looms

Works continuously over a span of 3 months, hence no time is wasted in replacing parts every 12 hours.

Cost Benefit Analysis Working:
In case of Felt Pad
- Cost of Felt Pad is Re1/felt pad ; Cost of Adhesive tape is Re 0.35 /felt pad
- Cost of Solid Pad is Rs123/pad
- Let's assume that a unit has 30 looms of 6 shuttles each.
- Normally a Felt pad lasts for 12 hours. Thus 2 felt pads are required for a shuttle in a day.
- Thus cost of felt pad's required for180 shuttles in a day is = Rs486/day (i.e.180 x 2.70)
- Thus for 90 days cost of Felt pad is =Rs. 43470 (486 x 90).....(A)
In case of Solid Pad
- Cost @Rs. 123 for 180 Looms =Rs 22140 (which will work for minimum 90 days.)..(B)
- Thus a Direct Savings of Rs21330 (i.e.(A-B) i.e. Rs.43470 - Rs.22140)
